80.4% of Idaho County residents old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 16,494 citizens living in Idaho County in 2021, 80.4% were old enough to vote, equating to 13,266 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 7,042 were male, constituting 53.1%, and 6,224 were female, making up 46.9%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Idaho County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 74.7%.
