The University of Idaho women’s track team matched its best conference finish since 2014 at this year’s Big Sky Outdoor Championship. Sydnie Zywina made school history by winning both jumping events while Ashley Hollenbeck Willems medaled three times on her final day competing for Idaho.

Paoli broke a longstanding school record while Zywina won gold in long jump during day three of the Big Sky Outdoor Track & Field Championship. Several other Idaho Vandals athletes advanced to finals or placed highly across multiple events.

Gonzaga Prep forward Dylynn Groves has signed with Idaho men’s basketball as their fifth freshman recruit this offseason. Head coach Alex Pribble praised Groves’ toughness and potential impact on future team success.
