Avery Elem-Junior High School issued the following announcement on June 2.
The Bonner County Treasurer’s office, as well as all other county offices, will be observing the new federal holiday Juneteenth, June 19.
Since the date falls on a Sunday this year, all county offices will be closed in observance on Monday, June 20. The offices will reopen with normal hours on Tuesday, June 21.

College tuition fees rose 0.5% in Latah County in the 2022-23 school year, according to the latest disclosure from the National Center for Education Statistics.
Latah County’s two universities admitted a total of 74.1% of applicants for fall 2022, a decrease from the previous year.
Nez Perce County’s two universities admitted an estimated 87% of applicants for fall 2022, a decrease from the previous year.
