Five students have started internships in U.S. Senator Mike Crapo’s offices for the fall 2025 term, with positions located in both Washington, D.C., and Boise.

“During President Trump’s historic second term, there is much for this fall’s interns to experience in the halls of Congress and in my state offices,” said Crapo. “Through their internships, these bright, young individuals will actively engage with Idaho’s constituents, expand their knowledge of the federal policymaking process and grow hard and soft skills important for their future careers. I am delighted to have them on board for this fall and look forward to their success.”

The three interns working in the Washington, D.C., office are Jack Gabrieli from Boise, a junior majoring in Economics at Creighton University; Trevor Rasmussen from Lewiston, a recent graduate of the University of Idaho with a B.A. in international studies/relations; and Daisy Aguilar from Idaho Falls, a junior at George Washington University studying political science and marketing who plans to attend law school.

In the Boise office, Megan Knudson from Santa Clarita is a senior at Boise State University majoring in political science. Ryan Collins from Kuna is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who earned his B.S. in political science from Arizona State University and has an interest in attending law school.

Crapo offers internship opportunities not only in his Washington office but also across regional offices throughout Idaho. Applications for spring 2026 internships close on October 15, 2025.
