The Idaho women’s tennis team will travel to Phoenix, Arizona for the 2026 Big Sky Championships, according to an April 22 announcement. The tournament is scheduled from April 23 through April 25 at the Phoenix Tennis Center.

This event marks the end of Idaho’s spring season and offers a chance for the team to showcase its progress. Matches will begin each day at 8:00 a.m. local time and continue until all matches are completed. Idaho is set to play its first match against Eastern Washington on Thursday, April 23 at 8 a.m.

During the spring season, Idaho posted a balanced record of ten wins and ten losses overall, with four wins and four losses in conference play. The team showed resilience in both singles and doubles matches as they prepared for postseason competition.

Strong individual performances and improved doubles chemistry were highlighted as key factors throughout their season. Facing several top programs within the conference provided valuable experience ahead of this week’s tournament.

With their regular-season development and previous postseason experience, Idaho aims to make a competitive run in the Big Sky Championships bracket.
