The Idaho women’s tennis team will conclude its regular season with a match against Eastern Washington on April 18 in Cheney, Washington. The match is scheduled to start at 11 a.m. at the Jim Thorpe Fieldhouse.

This final matchup of the regular season holds significance for both teams as they look to solidify their records ahead of potential postseason play. Idaho enters the contest with an overall record of 10-9 and a conference record of 4-3. The Vandals have achieved notable victories this season, including wins over New Mexico State (5-2), Montana State (5-2), and nationally ranked No. 58 Sacramento State (4-3). The team has also faced challenges throughout the year, making this weekend’s game pivotal for their standing.

Eastern Washington comes into the match after splitting results last weekend—a loss to Idaho State (2-5) and a win over Weber State (5-2). The Eagles currently hold an overall record of 10-8 and are also at 4-3 in conference play. During Saturday’s event, Eastern Washington will honor seniors Anait Arutiunian, Leandra Nizetic, and Sara Vasic.
