On Saturday, Nov. 15, former Sandpoint High School standout Arie VanDenBerg’s current collegiate team the Chapman Panthers won 27-17 against the California Lutheran Kingsmen in the NCAA Division III Football Championship.

The game took place at Ernie Chapman Stadium at 1 p.m. and was the first matchup against the California Lutheran Kingsmen in the tournament.

The Chapman Panthers’ next game will take place on Saturday, Nov. 22 at 12 p.m. at Whitworth Pine Bowl.
