Senator Crapo has been an advocate for issues important to Idahoans such as responsible forest management and natural resource protection (official website). He grew up in Idaho Falls and raised five children with his wife Susan. His educational background includes a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University and a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School. Before serving in the Senate, Crapo completed three terms representing Idaho’s Second Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives.
