As ranking member of the Senate Finance Committee, Senator Crapo is responsible for oversight related to taxation and revenue measures as well as nominations for key positions at agencies like the Treasury Department and Internal Revenue Service.

The position of Deputy Under Secretary for International Finance plays a significant role in shaping U.S. engagement on global economic matters and managing international debt issues.
