Senator Mike Crapo, U.S. Senator representing Idaho, posted a series of messages on his official X account addressing the anniversary of September 11, legislative efforts for environmental protection, and support for Idaho’s agriculture sector.

On September 11, 2025, Crapo marked the anniversary of the terrorist attacks with a message of remembrance: “On this solemn anniversary, we pause to remember the lives lost and the heroes who responded on September 11, 2001. We will never forget.”

The following day, he highlighted local collaboration in environmental conservation. In a post dated September 12, 2025, Crapo stated: “Natural resources and the environment are best protected through collaborative efforts at the local level. The Headwater Protection Act equips farmers, cities and the Forest Service to help reduce water pollution at the source and deliver cleaner water for our communities.” The Headwater Protection Act is designed to facilitate partnerships among stakeholders such as farmers and municipal governments to address water quality issues at their origin.

Later that same day, Crapo expressed support for legislation benefiting Idaho’s agricultural community. On September 12, 2025 he wrote: “The One Big Beautiful Bill is a win for Idaho farmers and ranchers. It strengthens our agriculture industry and provides the certainty our producers need to thrive. Watch @IDFarmBureau’s video to see what some of Idaho’s industry leaders had to say at a recent visit to Obendorf”. This bill aims to bolster agricultural operations in Idaho by providing stability and support for producers.

Senator Crapo has served as one of Idaho’s senators since 1999 and has consistently focused on issues related to natural resources management and rural economic development.
