77 percent of applicants to the University of Idaho were admitted for fall 2018

At the University of Idaho, 90 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 50 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Moscow enrolled 11,841 students in fall 2018, including 9,568 in undergraduate and 2,273 in graduate programs, data shows. 5.6 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

70 percent of undergraduates are residents of Idaho, and 26 percent are residents of other states. 2 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (71 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (10 percent).

The school admitted 77 percent of the 7,938 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 23 percent enrolled.
