Voting Open for America's Farmers Market Celebration

Voting is now open to participate in the 14th annual America’s Farmers Market Celebration, hosted by the American Farmland Trust and Farmers Market Coalition.

Organizers have once again upped the ante by increasing total prize money from $5,000 to $10,000 ($5,000 for 1st place, $2,500 for 2nd, $1,500 for 3rd, $750 for 4th, and $250 for 5th). Winners also receive national recognition, complimentary American Farmland Trust and Farmers Market Coalition memberships, and complimentary swag to celebrate.

The Moscow Farmers Market has consistently ranked as the number one farmers market in Idaho, and in 2021 also ranked as the number two market in the Pacific, and placed eighth nationwide. The Community Events Division looks forward to this spirited competition each year as a chance to recognize the work Vendors put in Saturday after Saturday to make the Market the bustling community event that folks from all over the northwest know it is today. As such, staff are determined to have the Moscow Farmers Market receive recognition as one of the top five farmers markets nationally.

Market enthusiasts are invited to visit markets.farmland.org/market/moscow-farmers-market and support the Market in the running for the cash prizes and national recognition. Voting is open until September 19th this season, and both votes and reviews contribute to a market's ranking.

The America's Farmers Market Celebration has been held online for 14 consecutive years, and is intended to celebrate the ways farmers markets nourish their communities while helping local farmers, food makers, and artisans thrive.
