Twenty-one members of the Idaho Vandals women’s swimming and diving team were named to the Academic All-Conference list, according to an announcement on Apr. 16. The recognition highlights the athletes’ achievements in both academics and athletics during the season.

The Academic All-Conference honor is given to student-athletes who maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0, are academically classified as sophomores or higher, have completed a full academic year at their institution, and compete in at least half of their team’s competitions for the season.

This marks the first time that Idaho’s program has received this all-academic distinction from the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF). The announcement underscores the dedication shown by these student-athletes not only in competition but also in their studies.

In addition to individual honors, the swim and dive team posted a strong academic performance overall with a team GPA of 3.63 during the fall semester. Forty athletes earned GPAs of at least 3.0, while twenty-two achieved perfect 4.0 scores.

The program encourages fans to stay informed about future developments by following Idaho swim and dive on Instagram (vandalswim_dive), X (VandalSwim_Dive), or visiting its official website.
