2021 has 3.6% of Lewis County residents unemployed

Lewis County recorded an unemployment rate of 3.6% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 48 people out of the 3,613 living in Lewis County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Lewis County has decreased compared to the 5.1% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Lewis County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 4%.
