Rep. Russ Fulcher, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Idaho’s 1st district, has shared his views and experiences on various topics through recent social media posts. His statements cover issues ranging from fiscal policy to international trade and local community events.

On December 2, 2024, Rep. Fulcher highlighted concerns about the U.S. government's fiscal practices by referencing a report from Heritage. He stated that "for every dollar the U.S. government spent in October 44 cents were borrowed." He described this level of borrowing as "unsustainable" and called for Congress to "return to taking up each spending bill in regular order to drastically slash spending."

The following day, December 3, 2024, Rep. Fulcher attended Saint Alphonsus Hospital's annual Festival of Trees event in Boise. He expressed gratitude for their work by presenting them with a flag flown over the U.S. Capitol. As he noted in his post: "It was an honor to attend...and present them with a flag flown over the U.S. Capitol." As a cancer survivor himself, he acknowledged their efforts to raise awareness and support for cancer.

Later on December 3, Rep. Fulcher addressed China's decision to ban exports of certain critical minerals to the United States: "China has announced they will ban exports of gallium, germanium, and antimony to the U.S." He emphasized that these materials are essential for American weaponry and technology sectors and urged immediate action: "The time to fortify our critical mineral supply chain is now!"
