Rep. Russ Fulcher, a U.S. Congressman representing Idaho's 1st district, shared his views on recent political developments through a series of tweets. Fulcher has been serving in Congress since 2019 after replacing Raúl Labrador and has previously served in the Idaho Senate from 2005 to 2014.

On January 21, 2025, Rep. Fulcher expressed his gratitude towards President Trump for halting the Lava Ridge Wind Project in Idaho. He stated, "On his first day in office, President Trump successfully put a stop to the Lava Ridge Wind Project in Idaho. This disastrous windmill farm was neither accepted nor welcomed by Idahoans at any stage. On behalf of countless Idahoans, THANK YOU, Mr. President!"
