Rep. Russ Fulcher, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Idaho's 1st district, has recently made several public statements through social media on significant legislative and political issues. These comments reflect his positions on tax legislation, sports policy, energy production, and government waste.

On February 7, 2025, Rep. Fulcher announced his participation in a discussion with C-SPAN regarding new legislation he introduced to eliminate federal income tax on overtime pay. He stated that "H.R. 405, the Keep Every Extra Penny (KEEP) Act, would address our nation's significant workforce shortage and put more money back in people’s pockets!".

On February 10, 2025, Rep. Fulcher praised recent actions by President Trump concerning women's sports and border security while criticizing government spending practices. He remarked that "In just three weeks, @POTUS has taken biological men out of women’s sports, protected our communities by securing the border, and identified exorbitant amounts of government waste." According to him, these actions have resulted in a rise in President Trump's approval rating.

Later that day on February 10th, Fulcher criticized former President Biden's administration for its approach to U.S. energy production policies under fracking regulations. He claimed that "under President Biden, his administration waged an executive assault on U.S. energy production", which he argued led to increased costs for Americans and threatened national energy security.
