Russ Fulcher, a U.S. Congressman representing Idaho's 1st district, shared several updates on his official activities through social media posts in February 2025. These updates include meetings with constituents and legislative initiatives.

On February 10, Fulcher highlighted a meeting with members of Idaho’s agricultural community in Washington, D.C., expressing gratitude for their visit. He stated: "Great meeting with members of Idaho’s agricultural community here in Washington, D.C. Thank you for taking the time to come by!"

The following day, on February 11, Fulcher addressed concerns regarding resources for President Trump's policy agenda. He announced the introduction of the Emergency Border Control Resolution by the Freedom Caucus. The proposal aims to reduce government spending while allocating funds for border control: "The resources needed to continue delivering on President Trump’s policy agenda are drying up... This budget proposal would cut $486B in government spending while providing $200B for border..."

Later that same day, Fulcher introduced new legislation aimed at consumer protection concerning smart devices. He presented the Informing Consumers About Smart Devices Act (H.R. 859), emphasizing transparency regarding potential recording features of home appliances: "Americans deserve to know if an appliance in their home is recording them unknowingly... Proud to introduce the Informing Consumers About Smart Devices Act, H.R. 859."
