Rep. Russ Fulcher, a U.S. Congressman representing Idaho's 1st district since 2019, has been active on social media discussing key economic and legislative issues. His recent tweets highlight his perspectives on inflation, government spending, and energy policy.

On March 12, 2025, Rep. Fulcher noted the current state of inflation: "Reports show inflation is now at its lowest level in four years. Deregulation, encouraging investment, bolstering energy production, and cutting waste work. A lot more needs to be done, but this is an excellent sign that the economy is moving in the right direction."

Later that day, he commented on a legislative measure taken by the House: "The House’s stopgap freezes spending for six months—unlike Congress’s historical misuse of this legislative tool—and ensures there is NO increased cost to the taxpayer. Now, with this vote to avert a costly, distractive, and go-nowhere government shutdown out of the way..."

On March 13, 2025, Rep. Fulcher expressed support for specific legislation concerning energy infrastructure: "The importance of the Lower Snake River Dams and the power they generate has never been clearer. I am proud to be an original co-sponsor of the Defending Our Dams Act and the POWER Act."
